All I can say about this is that it's brilliant. At the start I was expecting your more usual hevay dubstep style but when the beat came in I instantly knew I was going to love this. I personally get reminded a bit of the old 90s electronic music with the fly away lyrics and the beat but the other parts and sounds make it sound more modern. The little break parts at like 1:31 and 1:56 kept me interested since they help keep the song from sounding too repetitive. Overall, you've done a really good job on this. I'm definitely going to be listening to this and putting it on repeat for the next few days. Keep up the great work!

The genre would probably be happy hardcore from what I know since it's a bit too melodic to be hardcore. Also, I'm guessing that this might be your first time making a hardcore/hardstyle song but I would say that you've done a pretty good attempt at making one. It reminds me a bit of the older hardcore songs since the melody is very reminiscent of old hardcore/hardstyle artists. Also, does the name of the song mean anything or is it something that you just came up with? Overall you've done a great job at making a hardcore/hardstyle song if this is your first attempt if it isn't then you've still done a good job

psykidelia responds:

Haha thanks! The old happy hardcore theming is what I was going for! The name of the song is Rave River in the romanized Japanese language, but with minor changes.

This is actually really good. I could see it being used for a game like Hotline Miami or something that has that retro 80s style to it. It does get repetitive at times but since this is a simple beat you've made I would expect it to be repetitive. It reminds me a bit of A Hat In Time especially the soundtrack for the time pieces. Overall, you've done a good job considering that this is a simple beat

Thank you!
I would use that feedback you offered and try to add more variety to my future songs.

Firstly, this was an amazing journey from start to finish. Probably one of my favourites from you along with Memento Mori. When I was listening to this, I thought of someone being stuck in a timeloop. The start represents how unaware they are of what's going to happen in the next few minutes. It's calm and nothing seems to be happening apart from a simple tune but when the bass in the background becomes more clearer that's when the person is reaching the event that will trap them in the timeloop. When the bass disappears and we are left with that simple melody that's when the person sees the event but when the bass at around 3:12 hits that's when they are brought back to the start. They have no clue what's happened. They are scared and trying to get rid of their thoughts and focus on doing stuff rather than thinking about what happened. The bell like sound represents that and they eventually calm down but when the part at around 5:23 hits they have witnessed the event again and are back at the start. It perfectly represents the chaos the person feels as they try to figure out what to do as they keep on returning to the start again. They keep trying only to end up in failure. Afterwards, when there's only bells and the sounds of fire burning it represents how the person feels helpless. They can't do anything but they know there has to be someway out. Eventually, they figure something out but now it's time to see if it will work. When the part at around 11:31 hits it is the moment when the person tries different methods of trying to get out. It is more intense and represents how they know what's going to happen and how to exactly stop it and avoid what would've happened. The part afterwards is that moment when they have finally figured it out they now know how to stop the timeloop. It slowly calms down as the person does everything that is needed to be done to stop the timeloop. The melody at the end is that moment when the person is no longer taken back to the start. It is more calmer and tranquil than the other melodies which shows how the person is relieved and is filled with happiness.

I apologize for the long review but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

This is amazing. The intro had me hooked instantly but when the beat came in it just made it even better. It feels like a song that would be perfect for a boss fight or a game that has fast paced gameplay.

The beginning of this song was a little underwhelming in my opinon but it's more like a chill intro to what the rest of the song is. When the synth came in at around 1:53, it felt like I was listening to a completly different song. After that the song just got better especially when the drop came. The part after the drop feels perfect for a chase scene as it makes you feel like there's something coming. Overall, this is a really nice song

Aerozic responds:

Thanks, yeah I look back at a lot of my tracks I've made in the past and see improvements I could have made, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This is very chill and relaxing. It sounds a bit dreamy and that makes me think of some kind of scenery with the sun setting down or standing on a cliff looking out at the forest. I also really like the little sound at around 1:28 and 2:42 since it helps to give the song that calm feeling and helps make you feel like you're entering a new world.

This is quite nice. It sounds very relaxing and it seems like one of those songs that's perfect for driving to. The melody in my opinion sounds melancholy as if you are going through your memories remembering what you've done. Overall, a nice chill song.

This is probably one of my most favourite songs from you so far. I don't really know how to describe the feeling that this song gives me so I'm just gonna say that it's quite heavenly. Also, I like how each part of the song could be a separate part of death. The beginning part is that calm before the storm moment as it's what you are doing before you die whether that be having fun with friends or family or experiencing nature. The part afterwards at 1:42 is when you die since you have no clue what is happening and it's when the fear and shock hit you and the realization of what's going on. The rest of the song could be perceived as what you think happens after you die. It could be nothingness, the afterlife, paradise, heaven or whatever you believe happens after you die. Overall, this song is amazing and you managed to perfectly capture the idea of remembering death.

I run a music promotion channel and I also make music. I also make MMD videos and random 3D stuff in Blender, maybe 3D animations at some point as well.
